Risque Pro

If you haven’t figured it out yet, WE LOVE DISPLAY FONTS! Vintage cartoon titling and comic books are an incredible resource for inspirations for weird and wild lettering, and we often consider it a personal challenge to try and recreate and flesh out these gems.

“Martian through Georgia” is a 1962 Looney Tunes cartoon whose title screen serves as the inspiration for our Risque Pro typeface. While the original reference was an all capitals only specimen, our familiarity with latin serif style typefaces made it easy to interpret what a lowercase might look like for this frolicking font with a jazz-hands kind of stance to it.
